California Instruments are well known in the aerospace industry for supplying test power sources for everything from providing fixed frequency test/ground power units to complex AC+DC power systems that allow for testing to test standards such as ABD0100.1.8, B787 Rev. C, MIL-STD704A-F and RTCA-DO160D-E. Many of the units available can be provided with their own built in monitoring. Most tests are driven through California Instruments GUI (Graphical User Interface) software and are extremely easy to set up and use. Voltech's PM6000 is a relatively new addition to their line of power analysers. The PM6000 has broken new ground in terms of its measuring capabilities and is set to become the benchmark in the field of power analysis. It is already well established as the new 'must have' equipment for EMC testing (harmonics and flicker) and Voltech are now rolling out a new software package that will allow PM6000 users to measure harmonics for DO160E.
