B4200 DMM - Digital Multimeter

The B4200 DMM offers an excellent selection of measurement functions and can be used as a simple bench tool or programmed from a PC. This neat low cost DMM offers selectable measurement speeds allowing for higher speed low resolution results or slower speed high resolution result (3.5 to 5.5 digits). The feature rich B4200 test modes such as MAX/MIN hold, reference value and GO/NOGO test functions.

 

Programmable
- Record (MAX / MIN): Records and displays the MAX and MIN values of the input value.
- Relative (REF / ERR): This mode measures how much the input value deviates from a reference value and displays the deviation as a % error according the formula.
- Compare (GO-NOGO): The LCD will display PASS if the input value is with in the HI/LO limits, LO if the value is lower than the LO limit and HI if the value is higher than the HI limit.

Resolution
- B4200: Selectable 3-1/2 to 5-1/2 Digit resolution (Fast, Middle, Slow mode)

True RMS
- True RMS, AC

Range
- Full Auto Range

Measurement
- DCV, ACV, OHM, BEEP, DIODE, FREQ, DC μA, DC mA, DCA, AC μA, AC mA and ACA

Trend Plot
- The REF is the centerline value on the trend graph, H/Div is the X axis (time) and V/DIV is the Y axis (amplitude).

Setup
- Setting and functions may be selected and stored in memory from the front panel. Eight setups may be stored in memory.

Equipment
- Displays information about your instrument including the Model number, serial number, Calibration date, GPIB address and Firmware revision.

Remote Control
- Function and ranges may be controlled from a PC via RS232 or the optional GPIB interface.

Power Source
- Universal Input - 100V to 240Vac (50/60Hz).

Display
- 128 by 64 pixel Super Twisted LCD display
